Services

Jackie has handled all levels of projects, from styling and a simple decorative refresh to full interior overhauls.  To date, her work has ranged from the redecoration of a villa in Barbados and a 9,500 Sq. ft new build in the Cotswolds, to a complete refurbishment and styling of a Grade II Listed 22 bedroom country house hotel and restaurant on the Castle Ashby Estate in Northamptonshire.

The key to the success of any project is in the planning. Jackie offers a personal service that is underpinned by a focus on client satisfaction. She aspires to find the right balance between offering design inspiration and listening to client ideas. Equal importance is also placed on the project process, all helping to ensure that the end result reflects both the requirements and aspirations of her clients.

project process, how it works

A range of services can be offered, all are tailored to a reassuring and established process.

The Brief

During this stage, time is spent learning about the client’s personal style and preferences. A wider understanding of the project is also gained through looking at plans and photographs as well as conducting a site visit. The extent of the work is then determined alongside an understanding of the budget, timescales and the administration involved. A proposal outlining the scope of works for the project follows and is sent to the client for approval.

The Concept

Here the brief is interpreted and developed through the creation of plans. These will illustrate proposed furniture layouts and mood board presentations will be provided containing samples of proposed finishes. Further information and visuals with particular reference to joinery and furniture will also be offered.

During this stage, collaboration with the client is a priority, inviting as much feedback as possible to check clarity and understanding and once this has been achieved, we can then move onto the next stage.

Developing and refining the concept

Further detailed development of the concept takes place with revisions to drawings along with the final presentation of all finishes, art and accessories suggested for the project.

Implementation

A schedule of works is then drawn up, agreed and implemented. This usually includes visiting the site regularly, attending meetings and coordinating with others associated with the project.

Updates on progress is provided to the client throughout this process with management of the installation process and a styling service offered bringing the project to a successful completion.
