APPROACH

Jackie is known for creating relaxed, well considered, stylish and timeless interiors.  She often uses colour and biophilic attitudes to provoke a sense of wellbeing in the spaces she creates.

Her ethos is underpinned by an ability to interpret her client’s needs so that both form and function are equally considered. Taking a detail-led approach, with an emphasis on quality, the finished spaces constantly exceed client expectations.

BACKGROUND

Jackie’s career began working for British Airways where she managed teams responsible for the delivery of high-end customer service on both The Concorde, and the European operation. In addition, she spent five years working in the recruitment and selection of flying staff, working out of London’s Heathrow Airport and was responsible for running team exercises and panel interviews.

Running alongside her then professional life was a passionate interest in interior design where she engaged in various courses on colour theory, upholstery, curtain making, technical drawing and other disciplines involved within interior design. Then, after 21 years of corporate life, Jackie decided to follow her passion for interiors and embarked on a major career change. She left B A and enrolled at the prestigious KLC Design College at Chelsea Harbour in order to gain a recognised qualification enabling her to work within the industry.

Several years of working as an Interior Designer in the Cotswolds for a high-end retail design service followed, where she immersed herself in numerous residential projects both in the UK and abroad and regularly gave talks on interior design and colour theory.  That expansive design knowledge, coupled with her customer service experience, led to her setting up her own design studio where she is now able to create inspired interiors alongside offering a comprehensive service that helps her clients navigate through what can often be an overwhelming process.
